OUR COMMITMENTS
for the planet
At Rondot Group, we recognize that every action we take today shapes the world of tomorrow. As a key player in the glass manufacturing industry, we embrace our responsibility to reduce our environmental impact and drive positive change across our operations. Our commitment to the planet is reflected in a clear, measurable approach: assessing our carbon footprint, improving energy efficiency, minimizing waste, and advancing circular economy practices. These efforts are not just initiatives—they are embedded in our long-term vision for sustainable growth.
By taking decisive steps toward more responsible production and resource management, we aim to support a more resilient, low-impact future for our industry and the communities we serve.
Our carbon footprint assessment
At Rondot, we are committed to minimizing our carbon footprint across every stage of our operations. In 2024, we reached a significant milestone by conducting our first group level carbon footprint assessment, an initiative that covered operations in the UK, France, and the US. This marks an essential step in our ongoing efforts to better understand our environmental impact, set measurable goals, and drive meaningful change.

Understanding our carbon impact: Where our emissions come from
Repartition by source emission
Repartition by scope
These graphics illustrate the breakdown of our greenhouse gas emissions.
Most of our emissions come from purchased goods and packaging (74%) and fall under Scope 3.
Reducing our impact means acting across our entire value chain.
Future commitment
We are committed to reducing our Scope 3 emissions by working closely with suppliers and innovating across our operations.
Energy consumption
At Rondot Group, we are taking clear steps toward a more energy-efficient future. In 2025:
- 6% of our total energy consumption came from renewable sources
- Our French entities achieved a further 14% reduction in gas consumption in 2025 compared to the previous year, demonstrating ongoing progress in reducing reliance on fossil fuels and optimizing energy use.
These achievements reflect our ongoing efforts to increase renewable and clean energy share, optimize usage, and reduce reliance on fossil fuels — paving the way for long-term sustainable operations.
Waste management
Minimizing waste and maximizing recycling are central to our environmental strategy. In 2025, 85% of all waste generated across the Rondot Group was successfully recycled. By sorting materials like metal, wood, cardboard, and aluminum before processing, we reduce landfill impact and support a circular economy. Our commitment to responsible waste management is a key part of how we protect resources and operate more sustainably.
Our circular economy
At Rondot Group, circularity is embedded in how we design, maintain, and deliver our products.
By prioritizing refurbishment, we extend the lifecycle of components while significantly reducing waste and the need for new materials. Refurbished parts are held to the same high standards as new ones.
This approach supports resource efficiency, minimizes environmental impact, and delivers lasting value to our customers and the planet. In 2025, this commitment was further reinforced through a dedicated circular economy training delivered by Circulab, helping to deepen understanding and accelerate adoption across the Group.
Our circular process: Giving products a second life
From return to reuse, our 5-step process extends product life and reduces waste — through repair, recovery and quality assurance.
Future commitment
We’re investing in circular solutions to lower our environmental footprint and serve our customers sustainably.
